Gray also updated commissioners on a retention pond adjacent to the Grange that requires reconstruction. He said recent hydrology numbers were better than expected and that work to deepen and enlarge the pond and improve public access would start soon. Gray noted staff would remove fish from the pond during construction and that replacements are planned after remediation. No construction schedule beyond the general timing tied to the sports center was given in the meeting.
