Mayor Gray reports council actions: Dawson Trails agreement change, insurance settlement and board rule updates

Town Council Liaison Mayor Gray updated the Planning Commission on several council actions since the last meeting, including approving an amendment to the Dawson Trails Development Agreement to allow additional development work and approving a settlement with Ohio Casualty Insurance related to the Craig and Gould North infrastructure improvement project after the contractor went out of business.
Mayor Gray also summarized an ordinance amending sections of the municipal code relating to boards and commissions (membership, absences, term limits and meetings) and a resolution to restate intergovernmental agreements on water with Dominion Water and related districts. He noted a services agreement with Burns & McDonnell Engineering for arc‑flash water safety assessment services to support staff training on high‑voltage safety. "We did add up orders approving the amendment for Dawson Trails Development Agreement," Mayor Gray said during his update.
