Council clears multiple site plans and consents for new businesses in The Grove and BMP

Council also approved Resolution 2026‑011 authorizing the Mayor to sign a Master Services Agreement with Avenue Consultants for project‑specific engineering work, and granted local‑authority consent for alcohol licenses for Misti Maki Sushi Bar, the Tru/Home2 hotel convenience store, and Urban Kitchen. Developers and applicant representatives described landscaping, parking and truck access plans; Council members asked staff to monitor traffic and school pick‑up interactions where developments back up to Spectrum Academy. All of these actions were approved by unanimous votes recorded in the minutes.
