Eric Jensen was sworn in as Pleasant Grove City Mayor during the Jan. 6 regular City Council meeting after City Recorder Wendy Thorpe administered the oath of office to Jensen and newly elected Council Members Dianna Andersen and Todd Williams.
At the same meeting, Mayor Jensen read a proclamation recognizing outgoing Mayor Guy L. Fugal for his eight years of service and declared January 6, 2026, Guy Fugal Appreciation Day. "On behalf of the City Council, I thank you for your service," Jensen said as the Council approved the proclamation unanimously.
