The minutes record that all eight road viewers recommended against vacating the petitioned segment (Trostle, Harkrader, Sipe, Barker, Thomsen, Abendroth, McCurry, Petterson each recorded as 'No').
Following the recommendations, Commissioner Todd Barker moved to deny the petition and to deem the road a public utility; Commissioner Steve McCurry seconded. The motion passed, and the petition was denied. The minutes do not record an individual roll-call tally for the commissioners’ final vote beyond the motion and its passage.
