PARC grant request submitted; review committee meets April 27

Amalie Ottley, Payson City Recorder, confirmed at the April 21 meeting that the Forebay Committee's PARC Grant request was received and forwarded to the PARC Grant Review Committee. The Review Committee is scheduled to meet Monday, April 27 at 5:00 p.m.; that committee will make recommendations to the City Council, which will make the final awards.
Committee members noted that grant funds will not be available for spending until July 1, 2026. Karl Teemant asked whether the Forebay Committee qualifies as a non-profit; Karl stated the committee acts on behalf of the city and therefore is a non-profit government organization.
