Plainfield council accepts Plan Commission's unfavorable recommendation on Trico Real Estate rezoning petition RZ-26-019

Kimberly Robinson, acting secretary of the Plan Commission, certified on July 13 that the Plan Commission held a public hearing on petition RZ-26-019 (Trico Real Estate LLC) to rezone approximately 28.5 acres from AG (Agriculture) to RF (Residential Flex). Robinson reported that the Plan Commission voted 6 in favor and 1 in opposition to forward an unfavorable recommendation to the Town Council on the rezoning petition.
Council member Mr. Angle moved to accept the Plan Commission's recommendation and Mr. Kingseed seconded; the council approved the motion by unanimous roll call. The acceptance of the unfavorable recommendation leaves the rezoning petition without council approval at this stage pending any future action.
