Parks reports wrap up of summer programs, pool schedule and record coed softball turnout

Marla also reviewed sports and special programs: baseball, softball and T‑ball seasons wrapped July 20; church league play was delayed by weather; coed league softball began July 25 with 16 teams—the most the department has had on record—and Summer Discovery concluded its 15th anniversary season with about 50–60 kids per day and a roster of community partners running activities.
