"When we get the grant, we will go through a hiring process for the engineer contractor over the project," she said.
Councilmembers discussed prior estimates (the original four-sign estimate was roughly $10,000) and noted a local business is preparing a bid that the presenter said may substantially lower the cost. A motion to approve the match and sign upgrades passed by voice vote.
