Residents tell Stow zoning board Lions Club food truck would serve community, reduce traffic

Staff and board members responded that charity alone does not create a zoning exemption and that the town must follow chapter 40A and the bylaw; staff stressed that use by a for‑profit operator under an MOU complicates any claimed exemption.
The public comment period closed with the board reserving deliberation until it had reviewed additional material and clarified the appropriate permitting route.
