Board approves Bowman plan to replace monuments across Pelican Sound as a CDD-funded project

Eric Long presented a proposal from Bowman Consulting Group for landscape architecture services to replace monuments throughout the district, including neighborhood monuments. Some existing monuments are foam and some are stone; the proposal includes design and permitting work. Mr. Krebs noted that some monuments will be relocated and that placement of the Southern Hills monument needs to be changed.
On motion by Mr. Blumenthal and seconded by Mr. Schultz, with all in favor, the Bowman Consulting Group proposal for the Pelican Sound Master Signage Program was approved. Long said neighborhood monument replacement costs are budgeted under Pelican Sound replacement reserves and the team will coordinate placement and design across neighborhoods.
