Mayor Brett Schaible called the City of Leola special budget meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. on July 20, 2022. Present were council members Michael Yost, Jackie Rau, Vivian Sain, McKlay Pettigrew, Brandon Lehmann and Jackie Leibel; Finance Officer Sondra Waltman was also present. The mayor led the Pledge of Allegiance.
During the meeting the council approved a $7,857.16 repair quote from K&C Construction for the campground water storage shed and scheduled the introduction and first reading of "Ordinance 2026-02: 2027 Budget Overview" for Aug. 6 at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Schaible opened the floor for public comments and none were offered. At 10:22 p.m. Jackie Leibel moved and Vivian Sain seconded to adjourn; "All in favor, motion carried." The meeting minutes are attested by Finance Officer Sondra Waltman.
