Anoka County approves facilities master contracts and a $492,888 rooftop replacement

The Anoka County Board approved a facilities consent agenda on July 28 that included three master window-cleaning contracts (BrightView Window Cleaning of Maple Grove; Clean and Clear of Plymouth; StarBright Window Cleaning of Blaine), hazardous-materials professional-service contracts (Bay West of Saint Paul; Braun Intertek of Bloomington; Pinnacle Engineering of Maple Grove) and abatement/remediation contracts (Envirobait of Minneapolis; Mavos Systems of White Bear Lake; Shelter Tech Corporation of North Saint Paul).
The board also separately approved a contract with Construction Results of Plymouth to complete the Mississippi Library rooftop unit replacement project for $492,888 with a 10% contingency. Chair Schulte moved the item and the board adopted the contracts unanimously by roll-call vote.
Commissioners noted these are master contracts to be used as needed and the rooftop replacement is budgeted with the stated contingency. Staff will manage individual task orders under the master agreements.
