Supervisors approved attaching a Pueblo County meal, hotel and travel reimbursement policy to the county employee handbook and authorized distribution of the updated PDF handbook to department heads. Chair said Karen will send the handbook to department heads and requested signed acknowledgement sheets be collected for hard-copy files.
"Employee handbook is updated in PDF form, and Karen's gonna be sending it out to all the department heads to disperse their out," the Chair said. A committee member added, "There are several things in the handbook that, I still question just a little bit... it is always a fluid document," and asked employees to bring concerns to the board so adjustments can be made.
Supervisors approved the travel policy and the handbook distribution by voice votes. The transcript records some concern about perceived unfairness from one comment but does not include a roll-call tally.
