Town Manager reports water shutoff complete, paving moving to Main Street; Hourglass project on schedule for July 2027

Town Manager Chris Taylor told the Commission that a significant water shutoff in the center of Milton was completed overnight the prior week. He said paving work on Sanderson Road is nearly finished and that paving will transition to Main Street next, with Kingswood Drive a possible follow-on if funding remains.
Taylor also reported that discussions continue about a multi-generational recreation facility and possible renovations for the Rescue Department, including a grassroots donation campaign under development. He said the Hourglass project remains on schedule for a July 2027 completion and that the RFP for the Town-owned portion of the Hourglass is still in the works.
