Housing subcommittee to map state funding and survey agencies for cross‑sector braiding
Summary
Joanna Grant said the housing work group will survey interagency members to identify nontraditional and braided funding sources for housing programs, propose targeted presentations from agencies, and consider recommending items for the committee's annual LCB report to the governor.

Joanna Grant reported July 21 that the housing subcommittee narrowed its focus to housing financing and funding sources and plans a structured process to better leverage state agency resources. She proposed surveying Interagency Council members and relevant agencies to create a map of capital, rental‑assistance and cross‑sector funds that might be braided to expand housing inventory.
Grant outlined a four‑step approach: send targeted surveys to agencies, invite outside presentations based on survey findings, use results to inform the next strategic plan, and recommend priorities for inclusion in the annual Legislative Counsel Bureau (LCB) report to the governor. "We might create a survey for the ICC committee on kind of those non traditional cross sector funds," she said. Committee members supported preparing a written overview and visuals to clarify where the subcommittee stands and to avoid duplication across work groups.
