The Chair opened discussion of the CSEC toolkit by emphasizing collaboration and coordination of services as the subcommittee's central goal. "What we're really about is the collaboration and coordination of services," the Chair said, outlining Objective 1A to promote the CSEC protocol and assist communities in developing a coordinated response.
Members noted that awareness and training activities have already been held, including three summits in Clark County, Washoe County and rural regions, and that the protocol is available on the DCFS website.
