Becky Hoyt told the Selectboard that Maryann Caron reported MERP work on the town building will begin Feb. 16, 2026, and that the basement needs to be cleared out before contractors arrive. Hoyt said SecureShred will remove old electronics and that spray-foam insulation is scheduled for Feb. 27; the building must be completely closed on the day of application and for 48 hours afterward to allow the foam to cure.
The board discussed timing and storage needs; Cilley agreed to coordinate with Mike Howe to try to move a wooden storage box from the town clerk’s office and create additional space before the insulation work begins. The meeting record does not show any contract changes or additional spending authorizations in this segment.
