Executive Director Mellisa Seamans brought forward a letter and an amended agreement for the Village District of Eidelweiss prepared by Attorney Tim Sullivan. The board declined to approve the agreement at the July 27 meeting while raising questions about a $400-per‑month lease payment the Village District of Eidelweiss (VDOE) is requesting.
Seamans said she would notify Attorney Sullivan of the board’s decision and attempt to schedule a meeting between county commissioners and VDOE commissioners to discuss the disputed lease term. During public comment Fred Cain also asked that any meeting between the commissioners and VDOE be held in public; Seamans said she would consult the county attorney about that request.
