The commission recommended annexation, plan of services and SP zoning for approximately 4.84 acres at 6829 Lebanon Road, requested by Larry Bronza. Staff said the parcel’s future land use designation (interchange commercial) supports the request and that the change would create a larger commercial district consistent with adjacent properties.
Staff noted the SP would allow certain commercial uses (financial consulting, food and beverage, general retail, medical/professional services) while prohibiting others (drive-thru restaurants, bail bonding, liquor stores). Staff also reported no immediate development plans for the parcel and recommended forwarding a positive recommendation to the city council, which the commission approved.
The annexation and zoning recommendation will move to the city council for final consideration.
