High school: new business courses, events calendar and volunteer requests announced

High school principal Aaron Fletcher reported that Liberty will host the girls wrestling state qualifier and that second semester is underway with a Lancer Pride assembly recognizing character award winners. He said the district will offer two new business classes for 2026–27—Business Ethics and Business Management—and that forecasting for 2026–27 scheduling is underway with an 8th‑grade meeting set for Feb. 12.
Fletcher also announced extracurricular and regional events: 35 students will attend the winter FBLA conference on Feb. 6, the Running Start meeting had 12 interested students, Liberty will host the sub‑District Region V FFA on Feb. 24 and is seeking volunteers, and the Regional Knowledge Bowl is Feb. 20 at East Valley with the state event March 21 in Wenatchee. He named Spokane Scholars selected for subject awards.
