Board ranks modernization priorities; consultant recommends baseball-field repair design this summer

The board discussed a list of 10 facility improvements under consideration for a Small Modernization Grant and collectively ranked them by priority to inform project sequencing. Superintendent Jerrad Jeske presented the list and the board agreed on a prioritized approach to guide grant application and budgeting decisions.
Superintendent Jeske reported that AM Landshaper visited to evaluate leveling improvements for the baseball field and that Halme Construction and Cannon River Construction also submitted bids. Consultant TD&H recommended beginning repair design work this summer with the goal of bidding the project in the fall so parts could be manufactured over the winter and installation planned for next summer. The plan would allow phased work to minimize disruption to school activities.
