At the April 29 meeting the board conducted first readings of several health and safety policy pairs: 3414/3414P (Infectious Diseases), 3420/3420P (Anaphylaxis Prevention and Response), 3424/3424P (Opioid Related Overdose Reversal), 3432 (Emergencies), and 6700/6700P (Nutrition). Chair Stephanie Stout reported the policies were discussed as first readings; board action was not taken and items are scheduled for second readings.
Board members reviewed the policies to prepare for a second reading and possible approval at a future meeting; the minutes do not record substantive amendments or a vote at this meeting. The items are listed for the May 27 agenda for second readings and approval as appropriate.
