Superintendent Jeske presented a series of school activity updates reported by staff: band and choir concerts in December drew strong turnout and Boosters held a silent auction; a K–4 STEAM Christmas Concert and winter classroom celebrations are scheduled, including a Santa visit and K–5 awards focused on the character trait "Caring."
Athletics highlights presented for the board noted the middle-school girls basketball team completed an undefeated season, high-school teams had schedule changes and tournaments at Freeman and Springdale, and cheer and wrestling programs are active through the break. The high-school calendar includes finals week Jan. 20–23, a Lancer Pride Assembly Feb. 5 and a FAFSA booth at the Jan. 6 basketball game sponsored by the Innovia Foundation and STCU.
