Superintendent Jerrad Jeske told the board that district enrollment remains steady at 575 students and that the Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program will be fully funded for the 2026–27 school year. "We received great news this month—our Transitional Kindergarten program will be fully funded for next year," Jeske said.
Jeske also reported that Department of Health inspections of both campus kitchen facilities "passed with flying colors," and noted operational items: Cannon River Construction submitted a $62,000 bid to level the baseball field, the district is auditing its F-196 financial report, and the district is still searching for a bus driver to replace Melissa Doubet—without a replacement the district may need to combine a route. Interviews were held the day of the meeting to fill a vacant board seat, with the new member expected to be in place for the May meeting.
