Board authorizes management to select replacement fence at Pintlar site
Summary
The board reviewed three fence proposals for the 4th Street-facing side of Pintlar (ornamental, vinyl picket, privacy), concluded a 5‑ft privacy fence would violate the county development district, and authorized management to select the most appropriate option.

The Secretary presented three fence proposals obtained by Foreman Killoy from Continental Fence & Supply for the 4th Street side of Pintlar: an ornamental fence, a vinyl picket fence and a privacy fence. The Secretary told the board the privacy fence option was 5 feet tall and "isn’t allowed in the applicable County Development District," noting a variance could be requested but would require additional work.
Commissioner Kristie Vauthier raised concerns about vinyl's durability; the board discussed and agreed that a replacement fence was needed. Commissioner K. Vauthier moved to approve management's selection of the most appropriate proposal; Commissioner Mary Kay Bjornemo seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
