Housing Authority reports police calls and warns criminal activity may trigger lease termination

Secretary Kaitlin Leary told the board there were eight (8) police reports related to Housing Authority properties in February, broken down as three calls from Cedar Park Homes and five from P.J. Hagan Manor. She said noise complaints at P.J. Hagan Manor that were noted in the prior month have progressed to criminal activity.
Leary said a notice was issued advising residents that criminal-activity information may be used to terminate a lease and that such behavior could result in lease termination. "There were 8 reports related to the Housing Authority," Leary said. The board recorded the report; no enforcement action or case-specific details were discussed in open session.
