Board approves January vouchers after review of extraordinary expenditures tied to Cedar Park sewer repairs

Assistant Director Paul Fenchak reviewed the PHA and Pintlar vouchers for January and described several extraordinary PHA expenditures during the month. He listed RAD incentive compensation payments to staff, legal costs to Browning, Kaleczyc, Berry & Hoven for assistance with a Legal Aid policy dispute, stays at the Forge Hotel for tenants displaced during the Cedar Park sewer issue, and plumbing work by Maes Excavation and Saltenberger Plumbing to address the sewer repair. Other line items included a Senior Tab in the Anaconda Leader, annual dues to the Montana Housing Coalition, and Directors & Officers insurance from Marsh & McLennan.
For the Pintlar Apartments there was an additional payment to Nationwide for a policy update. Commissioner Mary Kay Bjornemo moved to approve the PHA and Pintlar vouchers; Commissioner Kristie Vauthier seconded, and Chair A. Vauthier declared the motion carried unanimously.
