The Brown County Board approved its consent calendar on July 28, including approval of the July 21 meeting minutes, claims and payroll, HR report, travel requests, lease agreements and several plats and subdivisions. Motions to approve consent items were made, seconded and carried by voice vote.
The board also authorized the state's attorney (Carly Winter) to sign documents related to VOCA and DAFA grant applications after staff confirmed documents had been sent to her for signature. "Everything's been sent to Carly, so we need to give her the authorization," a county official said during the presentation.
Separately, the commission authorized the chairman to sign Payment No. 3 for landfill cell number 5, a procurement/contract milestone noted in the meeting packet. Several plats and subdivision approvals (Mark Erickson 3rd, Zach Family 1st, Neil Randall 1st addition to Elmwood) were also approved by motion and voice vote.
