Separately, staff announced they obtained a donated 10‑row, 40‑foot‑wide bleacher set from Milford, Iowa, to be installed at New Hope Park; staff outlined transport logistics and minor site prep and said current city crews and volunteer staff would handle the work.
Council members welcomed the donation and discussed moving existing bleachers to other fields once the new set is installed. No budget appropriation was required at this meeting; staff will coordinate transport and installation.
