Members discussed the indemnification language and whether the town’s policy overlaps with the state Liquor Commission’s licensing conditions. Legal counsel (S9) and members recommended further review of liability wording, insurance requirements and a clarified application form. S7 moved to continue the review until the next regular meeting (July 27); the motion was seconded and carried. Staff will return with revised indemnity language and administrative guidance.
