Council told to consider bond advisory committee to improve oversight after past project concerns

"We actually advise most clients now to go this route of a bond advisory committee," Wright said, adding that the council can define the committee’s scope and charge and that it provides a third-party oversight voice to report progress and budget status to the council.
Councilors discussed how the committee’s charge could be set and noted that public presentation of oversight reports can be a useful talking point during outreach to build trust.
