The Senate Judiciary & Rules Committee convened at 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 21 in Room WW54. Vice Chairman Shippy called the meeting to order and served as acting chair while Chairman Lakey presented in another committee.
After completing docket reviews, votes on appointments and introducing RS 32987, Vice Chairman Shippy passed the gavel back to Chairman Lakey. Chairman Lakey adjourned the committee at 1:50 p.m. The minutes note that the sign-in sheet, testimonies and other related materials will be retained with the minutes in the committee office until the end of the session and then filed with the Legislative Services Library.
