Industry sends dozens of letters supporting LCB draft on cannabis retail management agreements

Kevin reported that public stakeholder sessions on the cannabis retail management agreements draft were well attended and that the agency has since received substantial written feedback. He said members of the Washington Association of Cannabis Licensees submitted “over 70 letters largely supporting the draft rules.”
Kevin also noted additional feedback from a group identified in the meeting materials as the "Washington Canada Business Association (WACAA)," which he said signaled general support but raised significant concerns with parts of the draft language. Staff plan another round of stakeholder sessions in January as they publish revised drafts and continue to work through substantive issues raised by parties.
