The Selectboard approved Brownsville Butcher & Pantry’s Spit-Roasted Chicken Block Party to be held in the BB&P parking lot on April 26 and authorized Town Clerk Amy Yates to review and approve the appropriate DLL permit once the State identifies which permit structure applies to this event. The block party is a joint fundraiser for BB&P and the West Windsor Volunteer Fire Department, and a portion of proceeds will go toward purchasing a new forestry truck.
Peter Varkonyi described site layout and parking plans and noted that some parking will use the adjacent Leland lot while a portion of the BB&P lot will remain open to customers. The board unanimously approved the event application and separately approved the temporary delegation of DLL review authority to Town Clerk Amy Yates for this single event. "This permission would be exclusive to this event only," the minutes record.
