The West Windsor Selectboard approved total FY27 town expenditures of $2,000,920 on Jan. 12, 2026, with $1,485,894 to be raised by taxes, $454,526 from non-tax revenue, and $60,500 from reserves or surpluses. The board also approved an additional $113,470 to be raised by taxes for appropriations; the approved total and fund breakdowns will appear in the annual Town Report.
Board members discussed revenue sources and agreed to direct a portion of anticipated Local Option Tax (LOT) revenue—projected conservatively at about $50,000 per year—to cover a $35,000 increase in the Highway Department Equipment Fund, raising the annual equipment allocation from $215,000 to $250,000. The board voted to approve the budget and to mail the 2026 Town Meeting Warning to registered voters.
