Little Falls introduces activities director Dave Langrew; outlines registration and coach-support priorities

Langrew told the board he sees two main jobs: advocating for students and mentoring coaches and advisors. He said improved outreach and visibility are immediate goals and described community partnership work with local businesses and media to highlight student achievements. He also described a new scheduling and registration platform called Bound that the activities office will launch and said officials will issue registration instructions and training materials to families.
Langrew said the district will introduce an activities handbook, which he adapted from prior work and which legal counsel has reviewed to ensure consistent expectations across coaches, students and families. "We did... have the legal counsel look the whole thing over, so it's been looked over from top to bottom by a legal counsel as well," he told the board.
Board members thanked Langrew for his presentation and welcomed his emphasis on communication and visible support for coaches. The board did not take formal action on his remarks; his priorities and the handbook will guide upcoming personnel and policy discussions.
