Selectboard approves minutes, liquor licenses, housing bylaws, appointments and road postings

At its Feb. 23 meeting the West Windsor Selectboard approved routine minutes, renewed Brownsville Butcher & Pantry’s liquor licenses, adopted Housing Commission bylaws, appointed a commission member, and posted seasonal road weight limits. Several items passed unanimously.
The West Windsor Selectboard unanimously approved routine and consent items at its Feb. 23 meeting, including minutes and license renewals.
Mark Harley moved and Mark Higgins seconded approval of the Feb. 9 minutes; the motion passed unanimously. Town Administrator Matt Frederick presented Brownsville Butcher & Pantry’s request to renew First‑Class, Second‑Class, and Outdoor Consumption liquor licenses for May 1, 2026–April 30, 2027. John Brodie moved to approve the renewals, and all were in favor.
The board also approved the Housing Commission bylaws, which create a seven‑member commission with staggered three‑year terms and a mission “to help the Town sustain and grow a socially and economically vibrant and diverse community by facilitating the development of affordable housing.” Mark Harley moved to approve the bylaws as amended; the motion carried unanimously.
The board appointed Peter Money to the Housing Commission with a term ending Dec. 31, 2026, and approved the table of initial member terms. Highway Foreman Mike Spackman’s recommendation to post town roads for seasonal weight limits was approved after a motion from Mark Higgins.
