Aurora council unanimously approves youth council and visitors bureau appointments

The Aurora City Council voted unanimously on July 28 to approve two sets of mayoral appointments.
The first resolution appointed Hayden Malloy, Blaise Kimbrough, Andre Jack, Christopher Ruiz, Pragoon Agarwal, Sateyundikhandukuri, Vihan Subliwavi and reappointed Advik Panda to the Aurora Youth Council. The motion was made by Alderman Seville and seconded by Alderman Smith; the roll call registered 11 yes, 0 no and the resolution was approved.
The second resolution appointed Tracy J. Duran, John Fusick, Katie Garrett and Gina Moga and reappointed Gretchen Timm to the Aurora Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. That motion, also made by Alderman Seville (seconded by Alderman Garza), passed by the same unanimous roll call. Newly appointed members were invited forward for certificates and group photographs following the votes.
Council members offered formal recognition to the appointees and the meeting proceeded to the public comment period.
