On Nov. 19 the Tulsa Metropolitan Area Planning Commission recommended approval of CZ-575, rezoning three parcels totaling about 154 acres from Residential Estate (RE) to Agriculture (AG). Staff concluded the request is non-injurious to surrounding properties and consistent with the Tulsa County Comprehensive Plan; the record notes the parcels lie partly in FEMA 0.2% and 1% floodplains and the regulatory floodway.
The applicant agreed with staff’s recommendation and there were no public speakers. The motion to recommend approval passed 8-2-0 (motion by Shivel; second by Rosene Robinson). The recommendation will proceed to the county decision-making body for final action.
