The Tulsa Metropolitan Area Planning Commission on Nov. 19 recommended approval of a minor amendment to PUD-457 for 7908 South Fulton Avenue that reduces accessory-structure setbacks to 7 feet on the side (north) and 8 feet in the rear (east).
Staff’s written recommendation said the base RS-3 zoning would permit a 3-foot setback but the PUD had restricted accessory buildings to 10 feet; the amendment would allow the smaller encroachment. Staff conditioned approval on the property owner entering an agreement with the City of Tulsa allowing the structure to encroach into a City utility easement, or that the easement be closed by ordinance so the structure would not be located within the easement. The commission approved the consent agenda motion 10-0-0 (motion by Craddock; second by Whitlock).
