The Dakota Dunes Community Improvement District Board of Supervisors authorized bidding for the SRF Force Main Project, an infrastructure upgrade estimated to cost $1,100,000. Engineers Jeff Dooley and Brett Langley presented the plan and a proposed funding package consisting of an ARPA grant of $247,025, an SRF loan of $411,708 and $441,267 in local cash.
The board voted 5-0 to authorize the bidding process (motion by Mr. Shorma; second by Mr. Wetz). A bid opening is scheduled for December 12, 2024, and the board will consider awarding the contract at its December 16, 2024 meeting. The motion passed with all members present voting yes: Beaulieu, Shorma, Wetz, Shanafelt and Finzen.
