LCB reports social-equity notifications sent; first Seattle 15/15 application approved

Becky Smith told the board that status letters to social-equity registrants were completed on Oct. 21 and that 726 notifications went out in a seven-day turnaround. She said 169 registrants have been notified they were selected to proceed with licensing and that three of those have already completed the Business Licensing Services (BLS) step.
On 15/15 implementation, Smith said the agency received and approved its first application from the City of Seattle, allowing licensees in Seattle to apply for extended outdoor service under the program. She said there is no additional cost for applicants but that designated lead applicants must submit required documentation.
