La Cygne names KRWA delegate, OKs clerk and staff training and conference travel

City Clerk Jodi Wade reviewed upcoming training and travel. The council appointed Public Works Superintendent Dan Nasalroad as the voting delegate and Codee Blanchett as alternate for the Kansas Rural Water Association conference scheduled March 24–26, 2020 in Wichita and approved reservations for two positions to attend.
The council also approved Jodi Wade to attend the Clerks and Municipal Finance Officers Association spring conference in Manhattan, KS (Mar. 11–13, 2020) and granted approval for Public Works staff to attend KMU technical sessions on distribution system rules and surface water treatment in late January. All motions passed 5–0.
