Commissioners approve recommending Christmas-tree sales window change, ask alignment with Monterey County

Commissioners debated whether Nov. 1 was too early and discussed fairness for other seasonal vendors. After discussion, the commission approved a motion recommending adoption of the Phase 1 zoning package with the Christmas-tree sales addition and asked staff to align recommended dates with the county if the county maintains any specific date requirements. The motion passed on roll call.
