Treasurer Greg Barrows announced his retirement during the April 9 meeting and the board thanked him for his service. The Selectboard agreed to discuss a transition plan at the next meeting, and Town Administrator Tommy O’Connor will work with staff (MJ) to provide interim reports.
Barrows reviewed the FY2025 General Fund and Highway Budget Status Reports during the meeting. The board discussed reserve funds such as the salt shed account and asked MJ to recommend which smaller funds might be consolidated or released for other uses.
