Peter Nielsen reported that Travelers Insurance inspected the Church (after initially inspecting the wrong building) and that a Travelers structural engineer has forwarded the matter to adjusters for review. Nielsen said the town's scissor lift is not working and that he will research long‑term rental or lease options, storage and security; he noted a one‑year rental period may be appropriate depending on needs. "We should have a written plan in place before getting involved in equipment so you know how long to rent it for," Mary Piscitelli said during the discussion.
On parks, Terri Eisel said arena dirt offered by the county needs screening and can be moved after fair days; she and family plan to work on sprinkler preparations and other maintenance tasks with youth volunteers available to help. Eisel also referenced extra bleacher boards available for future use. The council agreed to follow up on spraying for thistle in the park and to coordinate with Buffos' on cemetery spray needs.
