Troy Ostler of CivCo told the Wallsburg council that grinding of Main Canyon Road was scheduled to begin the day after the meeting, with fog seal, chip seal and line painting planned the following week. "Grinding should be done by early afternoon," Ostler said, describing a workflow where a profiler identifies bumps and a grinder follows to smooth the surface. He said the work will cover the stretch from the Church to Roundy Lane and "the whole project, all the way through Town."
Councilmember Mary Piscitelli requested that affected homeowners receive advance notice and asked for an additional speed‑limit sign near the inbound bend to slow traffic coming into town; Ostler said he would obtain the contractor schedule and arrange for notifications and follow up on the sign. The Main Canyon work was discussed as information only and will move forward as scheduling and contractor notifications are finalized.
