The council accepted the Planning Commission's recommendation to issue a building-permit approval letter for a proposed home at 10 West Main Canyon Road. Applicant Cole Bigelow told the council the original plans exceeded a 30-foot height limit and that he revised the design to make the home shorter than 30 feet. The council moved to approve issuance of the letter; Rohn Hortin moved, Mary Piscitelli seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
Clerk Alisha O'Driscoll will obtain the signed permit-approval letter, valid for one year, so the applicant may proceed with the county building-permit process. The Planning Commission and council confirmed the revised plans meet Wallsburg Town development code requirements.
