Resident thanks volunteers for Mabton fall festival, trunk-or-treat

During the public-comment portion, resident Natalie Palomares thanked organizers, volunteers and several local businesses for a successful fall festival and a trunk-or-treat event at the park. She noted the Aguilar family’s contribution and said the community turnout was strong.
“...the trunk or treat ... is awesome,” Palomares said, and added she is working with others to help organize and sponsor future community functions. The mayor thanked Palomares for her remarks and invited the public to attend an unveiling ceremony the following day.
